Today, I am hoping to inspire you to start thinking about your own aspirations for the next year. The reason? I am fortunate to bring you a giveaway for a Paul's Warehouse voucher. For those of you not familiar with Paul's Warehouse, it is a family owned Australian company that offers discount sport and exercise equipment, clothing and shoes. There are no physical stores in Western Australia, but they ship Australia wide (I apologise to my non-Australian readers; they are Australia-specific) for a flat rate of $10.
With a $30 voucher, you could buy all manner of items to support whatever you want to do in 2014.
Keen on running? You could probably do with an extra pair of shorts.
Want a casual top that will cover most sports? Easily sorted.
Want something comfortable to wear when you're not exercising? Done.
Need new shoes? Your voucher could help buffer the cost there too.
If you could find a use for $30 off at Paul's Warehouse, then details of how to enter are below! This is Australia specific so I do apologise to my international readers - but our Australian prices might be scary to you anyway, even with Paul's below-average costs ;)
- Main entry: Leave a comment on this post describing one aspiration (goal) you have for 2014. It doesn't have to be fitness related.
- For a bonus entry: Like Bite-Sized Thoughts on Facebook and leave an extra comment telling me you've done so.
Terms and conditions:
- The winner must have an Australian mailing address.
- The competition will be open to the 3rd January 2014 (2 weeks from today).
- The winner will be picked at random.
- The voucher will consist of a code for $30 off on the Paul's Warehouse website, with no expiry date.
Disclaimer:
- I was approached to host this giveaway but have no affiliation with Paul's Warehouse and I receive no compensation or payment for this post.
- Many thanks to Paul's Warehouse for the giveaway!

I'm not eligible for the giveaway, but it sounds like a great one! And I like your idea of aspirations vs resolutions.
ReplyDeleteMy aspiration is to be a committed and stronger runner so I've got my eye on some runners like you're pictured above :) I've also liked your page on Facebook, love your blog!
ReplyDeleteSent you a message on FB too, hope you got it gorgeous
Thanks Ally :-) I'd love to get stronger at running next year too and running shoes always help!
DeleteI'm so in! my 2014 aspirations include trying to do less and focus on the important things in life... and to assimilate positively into my new work environment... fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteThey are brilliant aspirations!
DeleteI liked you as my blog page ages ago... not sure if that still counts lol
ReplyDeleteOf course it does :-)
DeleteMy aspiration for 2014 is to improve my lifestyle even more through diet and increased activity - I worked on this quite a bit this year, but there is a lot more that I could do.
ReplyDeleteI think that's one of those goals that never quite ends isn't it? It's great you've already made changes this year though! 2014 can just be the icing on the cake...or some other healthier analogy ;)
DeleteMy aspiration for 2014 is to run my first half marathon- I'm a bit nervous already!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! That was my aspiration for this year and I ended up loving the first one so much (after I recovered anyway ;) ) that I did a second!
DeletePs I liked your Facebook page- some great ideas on there!
ReplyDeleteThanks Helen!
DeleteThis running stuff looks so comfy!! Totally wishing I lived in Australia right now!
ReplyDeleteWe'd certainly welcome you with open arms - it's warm here too ;)
DeleteOne of my goals is to spend less time on my phone looking at work emails when I am spending time with those I love! Thanks for the giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a great goal - I think I need to adopt it too!
DeleteThat's awesome - I love this time of year for reflecting - even in the madness of it all! My goals are less about goals this time around and more about intentions - I've been reading a lot of setting intentions and manifestation and am hoping to try it out. In any case, I have to trust myself.
ReplyDeleteI guess if I did have a goal as such, it would be to give my new website and health coaching business a good go - it's the first time I've ever done anything for myself and I'm shit scared. But, I know it's my life purpose and I'm ready to take the challenge. I'm also running a free 21-day #back2balance challenge to celebrate it for people wanting to kick-start their health journey in the new year - no diets/detoxes/cleanses - just 21-days of getting back to the basics of good health :D
How exciting! It's always scary taking that leap of faith required to chase dreams, but it sounds like you're in a great place to give it a go this next year :-)
DeleteI tried to comment twice yesterday, but from within social media apps so I guess it mustn't have worked! Anyways. One of my aspirations is to move up from 5k to 10k. I've had the "From 5k to 10k" podcast on my iPod for weeks and keep deciding to start next week, but I think these holidays are probably a good time to get started.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the comment issues :S Thanks for checking back and I love your aspiration for 2014. I bet you'll love 10km when you get there - moving past 5km was when I really fell in love with running I think :-)
DeleteAnd, I facebook like you.
ReplyDeleteI want to heal my gastritis and hormone imbalance and reach the state of health I've been working so hard for! Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly a worthy aspiration!

ReplyDeleteI love the look of the dress and can't believe it's only $20.00. I have been buying sporting equipment from Pauls for years. I am going to aspire to get some decent running shoes, buy some orthotics and run with my son in the 10km mini marathon in June of next year xx
ReplyDeleteThe prices are amazing aren't they?! I'm glad you've been making use of them through your children's expensive growing / sporting years, and I love your aspiration to run that 10km next year.
DeleteI have just bought myself a new pilates mat and I am going to invest more time doing yoga and pilates. Great giveaway, I have been shopping at Pauls Warehouse for years also :)
ReplyDeleteI have a goal to do more pilates too - it was actually an aspiration for this year but it dropped off over the last 6 months!!
DeleteLove Pauls warehouse. I just aspire to be happy. its been in short supply this year
ReplyDeleteThen I hope, very much, that 2014 brings considerably more xo
DeleteOne of my 2014 goals is to be disciplined and go for a run every day.
