  1. sounds like you had fun - wonder what camping is like in the UK now that you are into it - I only have the cartoon peppa pig as guidance and all I can tell you from that is that daddy pig didn't fit inside the tent :-)

    1. Having learnt about the way tent sizes are labelled, I can sympathise with daddy pig! We borrowed a 4 person tent but I thought it was perfect for 2, so evidently I still have some way to go with adjusting to rougher camping. Mr Bite grew up with family holidays around Europe in campsites so he assures me it is very possible, but I suspect time of year would play a very big role...

  2. Fun!! I absolutely adore camping!! And it doesn't matter what I eat, as everything tastes heavenly when out in nature ^_^

  3. Fun! I'd love to go "real" camping. My only experience of tents is at the Green Man music festival I go to every summer in Wales.

    1. This was my first real camping experience and I recommend trying it if you get a chance - it was lots of fun!

  4. Oh that's a very civilised camping spot Kari! Table and fire on hand. Gorgeous looking spot too, the Cape to Cape walking trail looks lovely. Feels so very long since I did anything like this.

    1. I think if we all did it regularly, we'd be a lot calmer the rest of the time. I would love to do a long distance walk trail through but will confess to being uncertain about carrying everything in a pack and camping in an assortment of places - not all as civilised as this I imagine! This 2 night stay was a nice ease into the camping world.

  6. That looks like a beautiful place to camp. I hate those camping grounds that are full of people with tents all lined up an inch away from each other. This looks so much more like the best way to camp. xx

    1. I think my poor image of camping came from seeing those camp grounds in suburban areas with tents lined up an inch away from each other. This was definitely a lot better! There were only 10 other little sites in the loop that made up this camp ground so it was very peaceful.

  7. I love camping; I always use to go camping from school. The activities at the campsite and campfire at the night I love the most.
