Snapshots from Devon

I'm taking a break from scheduled posts this week, as Mr Bite and I are spending 5 days in the south-west of England. I'll share word-filled summaries after we return, but for now, here are some snapshots of our last two days. Dartmoor national park features heavily, because it deserves showcasing!

Wells Cathedral, en route to Devon
(note the truncated spires; they didn't finish them!)

Wild horses, Widecombe in the Moor, Dartmoor national park

Hay tor, Dartmoor national park

More wild horses

Hound tor, Dartmoor national park

Spot the river crossing point
(hint: it's across the boulders)

What are you up to this week?

  5. Have a wonderful time. It's great that you are doing so much exploring of your new world. It certainly looks very scenic. I do love the image of the castle with the half-made turrets! xx
